Normally I could give you the link, however, I'm currently on my phone, so there is not any way that I'm aware of me being able to copy the link. However, the group name is USS Eisenhower-Ike Family.

Hi CCity!  You can also post your questions in this group N4M Ladies of VA, there are a lot of wives on that group; and ask Norfolk wives in the group PCSing/Moving.  You'll find info in all the Discussions, too.  Best of luck, it's a great area with tons to do!  :)

Hi Everyone!

My husband currently just dropped Rescue Swimming and he is now being relocated to Nortfolk and I was wondering if anyone can give me any information for there. We are moving in about a month or less so I do not have a lot of time to get everything does. I was wondering about information on the town, apartments near the base, and day cares. I really want to get a job there and i need to know what all to do to get my son in daycare on the base.

Blessedsailorsmom: My husband is on the Ike. There is a group on here (Uss Dwight D Eisnehower) for anyone that has a sailor on that ship.
