Any moms in the VA Beach area. The young lady that I have been trying to help with lodging-looks like she has found a room to rent. But needs furniture. Does anyone in that area have some old stuff bedroom stuff they want to get rid of either real cheap or free? Or know of any good thrift stores she could check into?
She is a college student with 2 jobs, so has a real tight budget.

oh Jennifer-I already know I won't be there on 18th. too bad. It would towards the end of the month if we get there. There is chatter about my step son coming to one of his siblings house to save us some driving.
But I will let you know!

Jennifer, if we are going to make, I'll let you know. I've mentioned it to Maryellen also and with a couple of days notice, she might come up from south Florida. That would be fun!

CindyH: Yes, your Sailor can shop from the Norfolk NEX online. Your Sailor will have a logon and password.

Eileen: N4M has not involved in any homecomings that I know of. All homecomings are planned by the commands (ships) FRG group who coordinate activitites with the command (ship). Are you on Scranton's FRG mailing list and Ombudsman mailing lists?? FRG sends out all info regarding homecoming.
