Hi Jennifer,
I might just make it to Jacksonville on my road trip. My step son lives there. Want me to look at your sewing machine?

Hi moms,
my interview about the pillowcase project is now on line. you can view it at
www.KOLD.com. Look for "local mom puts troops Heads at Ease". There is a story and a video. Enjoy!

CindyH: Yes, your Sailor can shop from the Norfolk NEX online. Your Sailor will have a logon and password.

Eileen: N4M has not involved in any homecomings that I know of. All homecomings are planned by the commands (ships) FRG group who coordinate activitites with the command (ship). Are you on Scranton's FRG mailing list and Ombudsman mailing lists?? FRG sends out all info regarding homecoming.

Hi Trish, if you go to Molly's adopt a sailor group, I have discussion called "heads at ease" pillowcase project. also, in the Ta-dum discussion, there are pictures posted of the 129 that were mailed in June.
Basically, my crew and I make patrtiotic pillowcases and mail them to deployed military-mostly sailors, but we have included Army, Air Force and Marines. to date, we have done 569 since mid Jan and today we are mailing 61 to Marines.
If you want to pm your email address, I can forward the "heads" letter and pictures. plus thank you notes.
My logo picture is from the January mailing-that was 49.

Hi all, I just got off the phone with Melissa another AZ mom who encouraged me to join and tell you all that I need some help.

My son is a sailor at Oceana. He lives off base in a 3 bedroom townhome. He has 3 roommates, one being female. He would like the female to move out (she isn't a sailor) cause it has become a stressful situation.
She is enrolled in ODU, and can move into a dorm in mid August I believe. She has 2 jobs and a car.
BUT she needs some temporary housing. Can anyone point me somewhere to
help this young lady find a room to rent etc?
Melissa said to tell you that she has met her and she is delightful. I haven't met her yet, but email with her alot.
Please put a message on my page if you can help in anyway. And I'll make your sailor a special pillowcase. THANKS!

When she gets to Norfolk take Admiral Tussing Blvd. to the base.
