Hi, Donna. I have one there until the end of the month. What are your sailors doing there?

I've been on the webcam for the last 90 minutes with my neice in NC. Was was in the Navy along with her hubby. I love talking to them as they can answer ALL my questions and then some!

I'm praying for all of you with that frigid weather. I will not tell you anymore what the temp is here. I will only pray that you all stay safe and warm....:)

Shoot, Teri, go shopping in Virginia! The last time I was there, I didn't bring the right clothes--not prepared for the heat and humidity of July. I went to Penney's and hit a great sale. There's Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Macy's or something like that, but the best is the NEX! Buy some cool Navy t-shirts. The best prices though are at the little building where you catch the tour of the base. It's outside the gate and you don't need a sailor to be with you to shop. I bought t-shirts for $10 instead of $15 or $20.

We have a place in Donna, TX. Anything warmer than -2 would be great! 33 is a heat wave here. We keep wondering why the heck we came home instead of staying, but we know why--Andy came home from Afghanistan and next week we'll be in Virginia. I'm going back to TX in March even if I have to go by myself...

Hunkering down and staying warm! It's minus 2 here and doesn't take into account the wind chill--it's blowing, too, because I can hear the wind gusts. Instead of us going to college basketball games, we decided to stay in and watch on TV.

I agree with Kathryn, what other words do you need to know??? lol I have a feeling they will know more English in Mexico than you realize, since they depend on us American's for most of their tourism....

Ladies, it's time to put your big girl panties on and just ignore the spammers. We're giving them just want they want, our attention. We all know how much phorn, etc is on the internet and as long as we're online in a public forum, it's going to happen. Just ignore it.
