Welcome Navymom8! I see you live nearby. I'm in the Archdale/Trinity area. We have get-togethers in Greensboro every three or four months. Our next one is tentatively set for October 26. Hope you can join us!
Mary and b2poohship07Div063, I am just about 10 min. east of Asheville. It would be great to get more Navy moms in the area together sometime! :-)
Putting it on my calendar now! (As with the military, it's not etched in stone but this gives us something to look towards).
Me too! (And on into the afternoon!) Tentative date for next time: October 26.
I live outside of Asheville my son just finished A school and is in Augusta GA. Irishgirl where are you in WNC?
We'll miss you, Mary! You know, they do have healthy food there, too. Are you just afraid you'll be too tempted? :-)
Adam'sPMom, We are still waiting on the edge of our seats to find out about JSOQ. Unfortunately, I think I'd better skip IHOP this time. I really want to try one of those limited-time waffles, but I'm thinking my NP would not be happy with my choice. Maybe at the next quarterly meeting I will have my symptoms under control and would love to see you again. I hope whoever shows up, you ladies have lots of fun!
Irishgirl, I'm in Hickory.
Are there any Navy moms in western NC area?
Mary, congratulations on Chris's JSOQ nomination! Fingers crossed! As you said, the nomination itself is quite an honor. Yes, you had mentioned that they're expecting a boy. Sorry the mama is still feeling yucky. Hope you can make it tomorrow!
Okay, everybody, here's one last reminder about tomorrow's "brunch":
IHOP, 1101 Lanada Rd., Greensboro
