Oooops, Navymomx2...did not mean to ignore the happy news that one sailor is able to join you for the weekend! Isn't it nice if they can be stationed close enough to make those weekend trips? I loved it while Chris was in A school and C school at Dam Neck. He came home several weekends.

Navymomx2, where in Japan is your son? Mine is at Atsugi NAS. Did your sons go to Alex High or a Catawba school?

Its kind of a "learn as you go" thing.  I remember myself 6 years ago in the same situation. All the Navy rates, lingo, etc. can get confusing. :) Now I have one Sailor in Va. Beach and the other in Japan.

Ok thanks Navymomx2 still learning all this Navy stuff.

Thanks so much for the invite Mary. Normally I would be interested in getting together but my oldest Sailor ( son) is coming in over the weekend from Va. Beach.   If possible I may take you up on the offer next time. Puertorico42 I believe that may be the same as undesignated, not sure though. My youngest son went in as undesignated 2 years ago. He is now OS3.
