Triad lunch-11:00 was last I heard? I'm there! Wondering if we'll take up an entire section? lol
So it has gotten pretty quiet in here. Is everyone (Triad Moms) still on for next Saturday at IHOP in GSO?
We enjoyed a weekend in TN with Chris and Liz although it was too short. They plan to come to Hickory sometime before they go back to Japan next week but so far Liz's family is planning something for them most every day. I'm trying to keep my cool about it but.....I really miss my kid. :-(
I hope everyone else is doing well and their sailors are working hard and playing hard too! Have a good day, all!
Adam's PMom, Thanks. I saw him last night and got to squeeze his "chippy-munk cheeks". They are in South Carolina with her family for a couple of days and then we will meet in the mountains for the weekend. He is really wanting to come here for a couple of days to see grandparents and friends and to get away from his wife for a day or two (he says since they found out she is pregnant, she goes "hormonial" on him all the time). I think this trip home will do her some good though. She has not seen her family in almost 9 mos, and she is such a daddy's girl. I have not seen him in over a year, so if I get just Saturday and Sunday it will work for now. (I have the trump card though...I have the pot of "Mom's chili")
Thanks, Mary. I did. Please do the same with your "baby"!
Adam'sMom, Give him a squeeze for us all, and tell him thank you.
Great pic, Chris!
The last two weeks with Adam here have flown by. I just have a few days left; he has to leave on Wednesday. I want more! At least I'll have the memories of this wonderful visit.
Mary, I hope you'll get some extra-special quality time with your son!
Wonderful pic, Chris! My son and his wife are getting ready to shuttle to Tokyo for their brief trip home! I will be soooooo happy to see them soon. Gotta remember before they land stateside to turn his cell back on. :-) Woohoo!
My sailor a week before he turns 24!
I'd love to meet some other mothers...and I LOVE IHOP! LOL We've got a wedding that weekend, but it shouldn't be a problem.
