Adam's PM, How rude of me! Enjoy time with your sailor!!! I KNOW you are doing a happy dance! Woo-hoo!
Ok, I know for sure I can't go March 16th weekend and won't know about March 22nd until just before the weekend (time with my sailor! DIL, and little one) I'm pretty sure the 22nd will be ok, but just in case they decide to come to Hickory for the day, I will keep it open until I hear otherwise. I also have a friend coming in from Minnesota next weekend, but she will be back at Easter so March 2nd would be doable.
Duh! Chris, I feel so stupid! I missed the UN in UNavailable. Never mind folks - March 9th and April 6th are bad choices. Bad, bad, bad!
Okay let's atart again. Maybe it's a good idea to state when we're UNavailable, then I'll track it on a calendar to see which weekends are left.
Again, I'm sorry, Chris! Just another Senior Moment!
If you choose one of those dates, I'll join the next one! No worries, I'll still be there in spirit!
So are we ready to narrow it down to either March 9th or April 6th at IHOP and put it to a vote, or are there other preferences?
Mary (CM) Congrats! I'm sure you want to tell the world! My kids aren't married yet, but my parents have 24 grandkids. I'm up for brunch,I am unavailable the weekends of March 8-10 and April 5-7. Saturdays are best for me and work. Greensboro isn't far, I'm in for IHOP.
Mary, didn't get a notice that anyone had posted until today. That's great news! Congratulations!
Adam got home safely last night and will be here for about three weeks, so I'm doing a bit of a happy dance myself!
As I mentioned, I'm pretty flexible about our get-together. Anyone else have any suggestions?
Hi annieNC- as usual a good group! We filled up on Mexican food and support from one another. Paul handed out coupons to Olive Garden! LOL, so that's our next stop... :)
Wow! It got quiet in here. Everyone filled up on chocolates and went to sleep? lol Big news on the line out of Japan...my son and his wife are expecting!!!! I'm going to be a grandmother!! I'm doing a happy dance, lala, lala, la, la...........
Have we been thinking about a date to meet up for brunch/coffee? Wake up!!!!!!!!
hahaha...I tried doing that when Chris was in Korea but there was not so much street view there. I could find the barracks though and he told me while on leave which one was his. You should join the IS moms...you would do well in intelligence! teehee
