For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just keeping all of our sailors and all of our military in prayer esp those stationed in Japan right now. Praying for families as well Just so sorry for all the devastation and destruction going on over there

when does your son get to norfolk? the enterprise just left for a 6-8 month deployment.
Wow bet you have your hands full. My middle son was kind enough ( oh brother lol ) to finish with the Army the same blasted day my youngest left for bootcamp ...
My middle son was enlisted in the Army under the Bush administration lol my youngest son will be on the Enterprise ...
I live in the mountains but sometimes misses my beach time before we moved here about about 18 years ago.
I do hope all of us in here could become friends in some fashion so if you need me msg away ..
welcome tina! my daughter is also stationed in norfolk, aboard the bush, lol. they're out right now. i love on the outer banks so i'm only 1 1/2 hours away so just yell if you think he needs some momma time. i've told others on other sites, if any of ya'll's kids are stationed in norfolk and they need something or just want a place to hide out for a weekend let me know. i have 1 in the navy, 1 going in the navy and 1 going in the army.
