Hi everyone...haven't been able to get on in a while. My daughter has been in since Nov. 2006. She is an AO3. She has been on Ike for 3 years now...and just re-uped

Hi, All,
Just wanted to let you know that my son commissioned and graduated from UNC this weekend. What a great weekend and Mother's Day! And beautiful weather! He is going to Hawaii. It's hard to imagine what it will be like with him so far away. Hope everyone had a good Mother's Day.

Congrats on the graduation! I know you cannot wait for that visit and he will be close in VA. The weather is so beautiful outside!! What a great Easter weekend! Since my son is at his A school and now has his phone and computer, life seems sooo much better!! I am able to talk to him daily since he is still waiting to class up.The man in suits LOL came to visit some of his friends so I am hoping that his clearance is just about complete and then school will start for him.

Hi, All, Tomorrow is the big day when my son chooses where he wants to be when he commissions this May. He is in NROTC at UNC. They have a list they choose from and have to do it in order according to the number the Navy has assigned them. I am very nervous. I really hope he gets what he wants. He would like to go to Japan. Please keep your fingers crossed for him. Thanks.

thx TINA. Just found out she has C school after A school, so it may be a while before we get an assignment as to where she'll be. Emotions are all mixed up and on my sleeve after the visit,. She had definitely grown up during bc. I sure hope she starts to like it better as she settles in to school.
