Anna,
Go to . It should be Chapter 7 of the NC Blue Star Mothers and they have the bracelets. Others do as well, I think. Actually, I "googled" Blue Star Mothers NC and got a main website and it has links to all the different chapters. There is even one for Gso./HP.

Connie,
Thanks!! I have been following the blue candle event since last Dec. But this event is blue candle moms not blue star moms which is why I didn't pick up on this event.

Wasn't there another mom in NC that was starting a Blue Star Moms group here towards the end of last year? I remember I wanted to attend but couldn't. I wonder if I can go back through some emails and find info on it.
I'll let everyone know if I find it!!!

Spensmom,
Where and how did you get the bracelet?

Tina, I live near Friendly Shopping Center. Another "meet and greet" would be great!

I just recently got a woven bracelet with colors representing the Navy from Blue Star Mothers. My son noticed it right away. The bracelets are in memory/in honor of those serving in the military. You can get any color representing any branch of the military. Blue Star Mothers evidently do a lot of things for our troops like send cards, goodie packages, go visit in hospitals (VA, I assume) etc.
