Congrats to Sam!!!

Happy to report than Sam got his orders yesterday.  He was apprehensive since he thinks the worst always happens to him.  Wanted West Coast, Sub and figured he would get East Coast Carrier.

His 20th bday was yesterday and he got a sub out of Hawaii.  Happy Birthday to Sam!  I think Hawaii qualifies as West Coast :)

Looking forward to seeing all you mom's that can make it out to Dixon for help with the wreaths.

I think I am going to bring some gloves to handle the wreaths with, as my hand always react to the Christmas tree.

See you all Sat.

It's an exciting day in the Navy for my sailor and some 20,999 others whose advancements were announced this morning...his career is making nice progress and he's really enjoying the opportunities the Navy is offering to him.  Congrats to any of you whose sailor achieved advancement...those quotas sure do make it competitive!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Stevesmom, I think that there is a Southern Oregon/Northern Ca group - or at least there used to be.

Is that where you are? Maybe we can do a M&G towards Chico??

Good morning, Thanks all. I also got word of when she will be home on leave. And she is bringing her boyfriend here. Wow! Must be getting serious with them.

Sylviar.....Anytime you want to learn to make a pillowcase, just let me know.  I sew all the time and have a dedicated sewing room.  Gosh, I think I have made a pillowcase or too:)

So glad you are making the greeting card project your own!
