Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Aiaina...It is always such a thrill to have your child in print! Better get copies made for the family.
Good Morning Everyone: I'm a bit slow at getting to my e-mail because fo working two jobs - seven days a week - however, I found this, and I wanted to share with each of you:
May you each find peace ~ though it may be a peace that is not easily understood by those who are not military families; may you each find hope ~ though it may be in the things that do not relate to the standards of the world; and may you each find joy ~ though it may not be in that which takes place around you, but in the totality of all that is.
I am in hopes that you will continue to share thoughts, ideas, and information with me at the
chaplain@bluestarmothers.org addy. You have taught me so much about so many things. I have particularly enjoyed hearing about what is taking place in various Chapters across the country. Your requests for prayers too ~ so special and precious to me.It has been such a privilege to meet and get to know our members. Our nation looks so big with so many highways and byways ~ yet we can so quickly be in touch and the miles just seem to melt away. So many of you I didn’t know before, now sisters of the heart. I thank you for this gift of friendship!
I thank you too for sharing your names and the names of your children for my prayer book. I hope that others will share too who would like their names placed there.
I thank you for all you do for our troops, military, veterans, their families, and the families of our fallen heroes. The world and many, many lives would be very different and very empty without your care.
Please know that as we go through the coming year the strength prayer can bring to your life will be with you, for your Chaplain will be holding you in prayer each day. Should you have a special need, please do not hesitate to let me know. You and your loved ones are very important to me.
Thank you for all the pictures you have shared, poems you have sent, links and articles you have given. They all have been greatly appreciated and much enjoyed!
