Pay - how many do you think will come?

Comment by NevadaSierra on August 28, 2013 at 8:47pm

Since this was put on facebook, I thought that I would share with all of you:

I reenlisted yesterday and i have a few things to say. First to my fellow service members. Thank you. Remember your service cost more than just you, your friends and family pay too. When some one thanks you for your service, accept it. ...Pass it in to those who have lost out on your time. Service to our country is a great responsibility and deserves to be recognized. To my friends and family, thank you. Your sacrifice is as hard and demanding as my own. I am sorry I have missed so much of our lives together. I apologize for the birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, funerals, and holidays I've missed. Know that it saddens me to think about them, ad that I truly do wish I could be therefor them all. I have proudly served for a decade, and plan on a decade more. I appreciate the support I receive, and hope that you know that I miss you all. To my wife, I couldn't do any of this with out you, I truly do love you.

Pay it sounds GREAT! I can commit to the plates, silverware, cups and something else for the salad. Maybe even bring down my huge ice tea maker - please let me know what you think.

Salad lunch sounds good.  I have invited my Mom to come, she is a better sewer then me. I will try to come even if she doesn't. Then go see the grandkids afterwards. I have to make the trip worthwhile. And I have not seen Aidan since May.
