Yes, Paymaster that would be great. I like the small lap quilts (same size as a baby blanket) to put over your lap and legs while watching TV.

irishfan, 1st of all you can't plan that far in advance for PIR. It maybe 7 or 8 weeks after he starts BC, there are many factors that could change the date even after he starts. Maybe your boss can be flexible?
Learn the miltary motto ' Hurry up and wait" Click the discussion 'PIR Tips and Advice" above for more info.

To all that came to the Meet and Greet, you are more than welcome to my home any time. I am already thinking of next year doing this again. I think next year I will make two smaller quilts that way two people can walk away with one.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your families. For those that can't be with their loved ones I hope you hear from them.

Blessing to you all.

Paymaster thanks for hosting a lovely M&G. Your house was easy to find. First time I didn't get lost looking for a M&G! Chrissy lived near there before she went into the Navy.

Well I am up early this morning loading all the toys to take to the donation center. Ladies (and husbands). We should be proud of what we did yesterday. We collected over 40 toys for the "Toys for Tots" program. My car is FULL!

Thank you all for coming and being so generous to one of my favorite charity. I look forward to doing this again.

Please check out the pictures that Donna and Birdie.

Maybe we can get Birdie on here to talk about her programs that she is working on.

Here is a copy of the e-mail I sent to my friends a few weeks ago. This should give you the details on my picture project. Let me know if you need more info.

I am involved with the Heads At Ease organization. We make pillowcases for soldiers in all branches of the military.

Please take a look at the attached video on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXMcn07lOMM

When I saw this, I got the idea that we could all do our part to show the troops that we love and support them.
I challenge each and every one of my friends to take a picture of yourself, family, friends, co-workers, or just about anyone you run into with a sign that shows your support for out troops. Be creative. I'd love to see some pictures of our firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, construction workers, schools, scout groups, pets, etc.
E-mail the pictures to me at smile4soldiers@gmail.com ASAP and I will print them out and include them with each pillow case that is sent to the troops.

This is something we can all do. Show your support.

Here is a pic that my husband and the CalFire crew did for me.
