Good morning. I skipped the state fair. Went to Lake Tahoe on Saturday. I did a bike ride with some single friends. Had lunch at a lake side resturant, the Beacon Bar & Grill, awesome salmon sandwich, it was fun.
Now trying to plan some fun events for Chrissy when she comes home. Her flight is coming in late friday night, August 6th.

We went to the state fair on Friday with Christian and his girl. It was pretty warm, espeically on the midway. We left before it got dark, but as we were leaving, people entering in were being wanded and bags were checked. When we entered they were just checking bags, sad when you go to a fair and you have to go through a wanding before you can pay your admission, but we know why all have to suffer to the stupidity of a few.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but today and 10 other relatives of mine were given the opportunity to write on a Support Our Troops banner at the California State Fair. I mentioned that my son is currently on deployment & they are sending him the banner direct from Sacramento to the USS Truman! I'm sure my son will love it!

If you have a chance to attend the fair this year, stop by the booth & sign up for your son/daughter to receive a banner too! They are a great group of people trying to let our troops know we care!
