Ho NorCal family, just popping in to say 'hi' and I hope all is well in your part of Cali. I heard from my Sailor over the weekend and he's doing good in A school in Pensacola. He's finally sounding positive about his progress.

I'm looking forward to M&G on 7/10 !!

Safe travel blessings to all who are traveling over this special birthday weekend. We are taking the grand boys camping at Prosser Lake (Truckee). This is quite the adventure a 10 & 5 yr old two dogs and us - their folks are joining us after work.
I hope all of you have a very safe and sane celebration of this great country's birthday. Remember our founding fathers - and I keep those prayers for each of your sailors. Thank them for me if you ge tthe chance to chat with them. N4M hugs to all, Susan

Thanks, going to try to do a few things while I'm there. My family is coming from NJ and I will be going with them (after hitting that famous baseball staduim in the Bronx!) before heading home. It is going to be a jam packed week! I can't wait!

LZ27, if you have time, consider taking a day and visit Martha's Vineyard. Here is the link to Vineyard Fast Ferry. Air or ferry to the Vineyard.

I knew when it was 80 degrees at 8:00 we were in for a toasty one! Great news from OCS 19-10 besides the DI failing everyone (all 22) on their first RLP 17 passed with flying colors. they now have phone privs on Friday Night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning. e-mail is also available on Sunday (don't know the time) and they gave them liberty on the base for part of the day Sunday!! So they are into week 5 and moving right along. this mom is relieved that we will hear something probably not much but something! Yeah gearing up fro graduation on Aug 20th (if all goes well)
