A big welcome to diane, Lukes_mom and mary, the latest addition to our Nor Cal group. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have a question. The calendar above outlines the meet and greet for this group and the SF Bay Area Navy Families group. You are welcome to attend any of the events. Plus there is a casual meet and greet on May 16 (not on the calendar). Any event that is set up will have a link just underneath the calendar.
Please tell us something about your sailor (or sailor to be).
Sincerely yours,
BunkerBee, NevadaSierra and Tee-1sailor's mom (admins)

Thank you for your prayers - still no answers for our wee bit g-girl. Because of her cleft there are lots of concerns. Blessings aboud with an awesome medical community and support. It's just hard to be so far away. Blessings to each of you - with my heartfelt thanks, Susan

'Hey ladies I know you like to help out our kids. Please go to Pepsi refresh and vote for Molly's adopt a sailor. They are trying to win to get money to help send those packages to our kids. For any of you that don't know Molly has a group here and the group does all kinds of exciting things. Check out her group too."

Good Morning Everyone: I'm back - just running. I am working a retreat this weekend. Women's Walk to Emmaus. The Assembly was amazing 6,500 church ladies in St.Louis.
We were all SO very impressed with St.Louis - I'd go back for a family vacation. AWESOME people. I have my e-mail turned off because I'll be gone so much till August - but I will keep checking in.
Thanks for setting the place for the M&G Jody. Remember all to bring your photos, etc. I'll be at Newcastle in the am - so should be there time wise just fine. Please try to invite someone new - check with your retruiters to see if there is a new Navy mom that you can bring with you.
Paula is having family company this weekend and can't join us.
Our wee bit (Brianna - g'girl - 2) has been in and out of the hospital. Prayers please. We don't know why yet. Another doctor's apt today.
See you all Sunday. I was very happy to come home to a sunny spring day without the snow. We drove over the summit in Danny's toy car (67 MGB) with the top down. It was a fun way to come home. See you soon. ~S

Bee....Yes your right, I could have gone to HI for what I paid. But I imagine this serger will last me the rest of my life The last one a bought 19 years ago, and I sew alot, so I got my monies worth.

Now I am off to sew really cut dresses for those two darling granddaughters of mine!!! Are you jealous yet Bee?
Comment by Vickyrun on May 1, 2010 at 12:03am
I do not sew. But I am happy for you paymaster. I had to aske my Mom to take in my slacks for me, and when she was all done she told me that I couldn't get fat again because she wouldn't take them out. So I am gonna mind my mother. No more cookies for me.
