Happy Monday Everyone. Today is anniversary day for our family. My in-laws 69 years, Danny and I 18. Wow, we have lived through every aspect of those vows and are here to celebrate.
How was Lincoln??? I'll bet a blast. Hope you all have a great week.

Thank you Julie for the reminder. Recently Quiltlady, NevadaSierra (Susan) and I have had some conversations regarding doing more for the recruits and their family. One idea was to have one meet and greet per quarter (or more) designated as a "send off" meet and greet for the recruits leaving that quarter and introduce the parents to the current members. We have two primary groups in Northern California - Northern California Navy Moms (Sac, Foothills, etc) and SF Bay Area Navy Families (All the coastal counties to Alameda, Contra Costa). I am drafting a handout for recruiters to give out to parents with information about N4M, how to use the site and a list of contact people (screen names only - the parent of the recruit would have to join N4M to contact us) and about these two groups (with maps). Some of us feel we need to do more for the recruits and their parents. Thank you for reminding us that the recruiters need our appreciation too. BTW, whenever my son is in town, he always takes a bunch of recruiters to our club for a round of golf and lunch or dinner.

Sorry, I can't make it the 24th. I am already committed to doing some political work that day. But thanks for the invite, Donna.

Good morning Nor. Cal Moms, I'm sorry I'm gonna miss the impromptu M&G on Sunday. I hope you all have fun. Yes, Susan I like ur profile pic. I somehow lost my Navy t-shirt, it disappeared into the dryer's black hole! But I still have my Navy flag pin. Good news from my sailor Chrissy; she is going back to A school on Tuesday. I have had my grandson (her Navy brat) with me all week. My parents are coming over for dinner tonight to see him. His father is picking him up tomorrow. We got to webcam w/ Chrissy 3xs this week, he really enjoyed that! hope you all have a great weekend. Navy Hugss ~ Vicky

So you two got a bee under your bonnets? OMG! What did I start? I want to take it all back. I am a horrible judge of character. LMAO. Didn't you suggest coffee, mittengirl? Right by Santana Row would be good for me and would be very special for Sandy. Just kidding. LMAO some more. Not this weekend, gotta work to pay taxes. next week - let me know if you need a ride, mitten.

Hello Mittengirl! So a little Bee said we should meet on Face book sounds like a plan. I like people who think like me...... I must admit I am not very good at Face Book either. But we can give it a try.

Take care, Sandy H

You guys make my day! Yeah, right, I'm gonna be able to remember all those faces. I have to think twice when I wake up in the morning, do I gotta go to work or is it a sleep past 4:00 a.m. day? Hum, Saturday? Nope, dang it, gotta get my butt outta bed.

Here's our group photo from last October Meet and Greet at my house. Tallmama, you'll have to remember all the faces.

Oh you are funny today :-} I remember not so long ago when we had our first - and those who had them wore their Navy Mom's t-shirts. I didn't have one at that time (my sailor has recently gifted me with a sweat shirt). We were very EASY to find. Just listen for the laughter - it won't take long. Even shy mom's find us out. Mysteries are good too.
