Just made it back to town from SD.  Had a great weekend with the Navy son and family.  Got to see our oldest granddaughter catch her first foul ball as catcher.  It was a busy weekend with 1 swim meet, 4 softball games and 1 award ceremony.

Now that we are home it is time to rest

megsmom Welcome to our group.  Please feel free to ask any questions you have and one of us will attempt to answer them.  Believe me, one of use will have experienced what you are going through and will be able to share our experience.  Tell us a little about yourself and Navy daughter.

megsmom - I wrote downa ll the questions that I thought that I wanted to ask our sailor. I kept a journal on the computer, and I started a separate list of the things taht were so special about him. Helped me a lot.

The M&G's will be a great help - you will hear our stories, and hopefully they will help to give you strength and courage during this touch time.

I'm sorry that I can't make it on the 20th. I would really enjoy meeting our new folks. Welcome, and please come if you can.

We have a Volunteer In Mission group and the Car-A-Vanner's (folks with RV's) coming to the church in North San Juan to work on the church for a week. We are VERY excited. Maybe we will get the walls completely replaced with hardy-plank. Please send prayers our way.

Our sailor has been having the duty, and his wife has been sick. There is always something. I'll know more about my health related issues around the first part of June. I'm on a very restircted meal plan - 2 cups a day of organic yogurt (which I sweeten with honey, blueberries and granola), Keifer, and Sourkraut. By the time I get all that down - I'm not hungry for anything else. Hopefully, it will help with the most ickiest issue that I'm trying to correct.

I'm praying for all of your sailors and hoping that everyone had an amazing Easter - remember there is always HOPE. ~~s~~

Good morning, Chrissy reenlisted. She did it a whole year in advance.

All I need to know I learned from the Easter Bunny!

  • Don't put all your eggs in one basket
  • Everyone needs a friend who is all ears
  • There's no such thing as too much candy
  • All work and no play can make you a basket case
  • Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
  • Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits
  • Some body parts should be floppy
  • Keep your paws off of other people's jelly beans
  • Good things come in small, sugar coated packages
  • The grass is always greener in someone else's basket
  • The best things in life are still sweet and gooey
    Happy Easter!
