YEA for you who have your sailors home. It will be a decade since we've been able to celebrate a holiday with ours. Thank you and them for their service, and please givee them an extra hug from me. So, I thought that you might enjoy how my day started:
DS came into Sac about midnight. Now both boys are home. That is my Christmas present! I hope everyone has a special holiday.
Rachael,very cool! Cant believe you drove through that storm last night. Anything to get that hug, right!?!
Oh, the son is home! Enjoy!
5 more days, Tee! Chrissy is in CA, at her Dad's. She will be here tomorrow. Trying not to be sad, she will only be here for two days. She wants to be 'home" for Christmas and considers Virginia home now. Not sure if that is good or bad. Just is.
Merry Christmas everyone. If anyone wants to come to North San Juan this Sunday afternoon at 3 we are having our Christmas Celebration. Complete with birthday cake for Jesus.
We won't get to take our grandson Owen (13 today) up to see our sailor, because our sailor maybe going back out to sea. This is good news if he can go - he will be able to make up the quals that were shredded. Please hold their family in your prayers as he prepares to go out.
Our granddaughter (Tyr) has been accepted to the Seattle Art Institute, and our littlest angel Miss Brianna will turn 5 on Friday. Her last surgery for her cleft pallet and lip was successful.
Our daughter is working with the probable diagnosis of MS - lots to pray for with our family.
My in-laws are amazing. Karl is 92, and now has dialysis four times a week due to his frail condition. Margie is 91, and continues to take care of him, however the stress is taking a huge toll.
Praying for all of you and your sailors - thank you for their service, ~s~ {{N4M}}
Alison, my son did BC in summer and I wondered what it would be like to have one going through during the holidays. It's so emotional anyway that it would up the "biting your nails" factor. Like Pay says, sounds like you're doing great.
tlcmagic, what a great job to choose...very challenging and rewarding. All the best to your son this year!!
Allison.....So proud of how you are doing! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
I am starting my 3rd week of my boy being in bootcamp; I am hoping for a call or letter this week!
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
