You have an adult granddaughter? That doesn't seem possible.

Thanks girls - like you I have a lot of questions and thoughts - but like so many N4M's - no answers. Mr. Classified himself.

It sounds like he has done what he could, and we will see what the future holds. Our Brianna started her new pre-school today. Head Start type for the stuff that she is working with. Our oldest granddaughter is enlisting - documents are a bit up in the air, so we don't have anything 'official' - dates, etc.

Thank you for the prayers.

NS, he's been in longer than 3 years?  All of those under 3 yrs have electronic files.  If not that is really a blow.  Holding him up in prayer that he can work something out.

Seems there should be digtal copies of all that stuff, Susan.  I hope so.

Welcome to our newbies. So very glad that you are all here.

We are back, and I am very much back to the grindstone so to speak. The Downieville church will celebrate 160 years on Saturday the 29th. You are all most welcome and invited.

Adam learned this week (when we got back from leave) that his military records have been shredded. All the sea qualifications, awards, etc. he has to somehow recreate. He does not have the documentation (except for the four NAM's and his evaluations) because he is in a "Classified" position. Please hold him in your prayers as he goes through the process of recreating ten years of work.

He is on the USS Connecticuit. It broke my heart to hear the discouragement in his voice, but then he said - well, the good side of this is that the bad stuff won't be there when I'm finished. WOW - no, I didn't ask about the 'bad stuff'.

Welcome Gie, 8/21 was my son't PIR date, just a few years ago....

Alison, the great thing about finishing BC is that you usually get to call them, email, etc.  It's the non-communication of those first weeks that gets to the moms.

barnsyard, how has the past year been?  I think after boot camp scares me more..can't hep but worry about his decision to join, I have all the faith in him but being away from home I wonder how he will do...my son doesn't leave until December.

Paymaster...if everything goes fines with boot camp, she selected to be a CTN. After boot camp, she goes to Pensacola for 8 months of A school and then C school is also going to be in Pensacola.

Gie....Welcome to the group.  Please feel free to ask questions, there is always someone that can help you out.

What rate did your daughter select?
