woops, I'm tired. So, here is our girl, with the dino quilt that the Mountain Star Quilter's made for her.
Had a good visit with our sailor and his family - got the play structure up (that was a surprise addition to the 'list' figured out how to fix the leak from the upstairs bathroom that rains into the kitchen (part ordered), wrong part for the car taken back - correct part ordered, motorcycle (Honda 90) fixed - gads I can't remember anything else. Oh, the most important part - nap time with Brianna!!
Thursday himself heads out for the annual family reunion @ Topaz Lake. Please remember the annual rummage sale for the Downieville church over the weekend. I'll be there on Friday helping to set up.
Sorry, Can't make the 8th - I'll be speaking @ a UMW event in Cameron Park. I'll be thinking of and missing you. Blessings ~s~
Hi All - back home briefly. Welcome to our new moms!!! Hang in there Kellee - - we are all right beside you.
Storms are such an interesting part of life when our children are in the'eye' of one.
Brianna's surgery went well - thank you for your prayers. If you can,
Oh the joys of evacuations.
If you every want to see what hard work looks like, just be around a Navy yard when bad weather is coming in and they have to get ships ready to be moved. Its amazing at how well they all work together!
Hi All, My sailor was evacuated from Pensacola yesterday, took a bus ride to GA, now they are being told they may be headed back today. Oh well better safe than sorry.
I could most likely make it on the 8th.
Kellee...Get those zip lock bags ready for when the box comes:)
Thank you ladies! The 'form letter" came in the mail today! Alot sooner than I expected! He just left last Tuesday! I guess the box will be comimg next!
I wish I could join you on the 8th but I will be flying to Fort Worth for a conference. It's been busy at our house with my husband attending AA meetings multiple times a day and losing his license at the same time. I'm not crazy yet, but getting there.
No Tee, I can't afford it.
Jody, I did get my car fixed so I could come to see you all, Sept. 8th looks good.
Catching up on the news I see Neil Armstrong passed away.
Neil Armstrong - Naval Aviator, Astronaut, American Hero, the first man to walk on the moon... a modest and humble man. May he rest in peace, and may our young continue with the same passion and love for our country!
