So sad I missed it! I was at the Pampered Chef Fall Launch yesterday
Great picture! When are you sending the pillow cases out?
Hey Everyone: Please hold a sailor and his wife in your prayers (Bangor/Bremerton/Kitsap group). They lost their baby girl to SIDS. Thanks, ~S~
Welcome to sixftblnd2002.
Please feel to join us on Sat. Even if you just want to drop by to introduce yourself.
Just a reminder that we are gathering this Sat, July 28th at 10:00 to work on pillowcases for the Wounded Warrior project.
We will be gathering at LZ’s work place:
The Chateau
7125 Fair Oaks Blvd
Carmichael, CA 95608
Looking forward to seeing all of you and spending what I believe will be a wonderful day with you.
me:)
Alaina....Glad Ed was able to help out with the door. Its so hard to find honest repair people, but when you do you tend to hang on to them.
Wow....everyone must be hiding out from the heat! Seven and I were out early this morning watering. The AC just kicked on. Guess its time to close the house up.
NV I'm going to ask my friend Vickie (who goes to church with me) if she wants to go. I think it would be really fun to drive up there. We may have to borrow a vehicle though because hers is not the most reliable. Vicky, maybe we can coordinate the date and meet there.
Anyone else interested in going for the Sac area (or above)?
Susan, I would be happy to come to your church and then lunch. My grandfather was a Methodist preacher. And my great-grandfather, too. He did the circut thing like you do, but it was on horseback.
Hey Everyone; Here is an update. Our sailor asked that before he goes back to sea duty (five years) that we could come up and Dad could help him with a couple of house projects. I'll have Oma duty with our littlest angel girl. We will leave on Monday 8-20 (unless I can have everything taken care of and we leave after work on the 19th). Because of circumstances (health related - needing access to the bathroom in the middle of the night, etc.) we will take the motor home, and it will take us two days to get there. So, we will arrive in time to celebrate himself's birthday and their anniversary. We will depart the following Monday the 27th.
Brianna's surgery for her cleft will be on Tuesday the 28th. Hopefully they will be able to figure out the leak in the master bath shower that is causing it to rain in the kitchen. I can completely understand why he wants it done before he goes backout to sea.
If you were serious about a M&G following the circuit - it would be on a Sunday. I start in North San Juan @ 8:30, Downieville @ 10:30 and Sierra City @ noon. It would probably be easier to try for Sierra City @ noon - and we could have lunch at the store (awesome sandwiches and burgers) or at Mountain House. August would probably be the best month - we have gotten snow as early as September but not enough to worry about.
