Hey Everybody: I pray that you all had a great fourth of July celebration. Please thank your  sailors for their hard work to keep this amazing country of ours celebrating.

Welcome to our new folks. This is a GREAT place to be.

NVMomma - yea, congrats. It is hard we have a NUKE. He drove home from New York. That was a memorable time. Hang in there.

If you have the chance there is a you tube video of Downieville, CA and our 'non-fireworks' celebration. You will see the 49 Willys Jeepster in the parade for our churches.

I have been re-appointed to serve another year for my churches. Good to have a job. I'm trying to get it nailed down to 30 hours a week (which is no where near reality).

Our sailor is getting ready to go back to the sea duty list this fall. Getting family and all situated for the transition. Our little Brianna will have her surgery on 8-28 for her cleft pallet issues (nasal). We are so very blessed that this surgery had been down-graded from major to minor. They will only be working on her nose, not the throat, gums, pallet area or other related stuff. All looks great. THANK YOU for your continued prayers for her.

Her big sister who graduated from high school in June placed 14th out of 40 in the national 3D Computer Annimation competition in Kansas City. I don't know where or what will take place next for her (Tyr is her name). She is also considering the Navy. That would make me a Navy Mom & Grandma!! Gad zooks!

June was a crazy month. July should slow down, and I should be 'around' more. Health stuff is taking much time and consideration.

Take care - sending prayers to you and your sailors ~s~

Thank you Vicky, I needed that.  Have you gotten to see Crissy yet?

Hi everyone, I too have been MIA. Spent the last week in a fireworks booth, now trying to reenter my life. I had to go back 5 pages to get caught up on all the posts! So much going on...I will keep everyone who is struggling in my thoughts and prayers, and am so glad for those who have good news to share. Hugs and encouragement to all.

My Sailor in NY just passed his 50% test in Prototype, which means he is half way through the final phase of his Nuke training and will hopefully grad in October and be assigned to a ship if all stays on schedule. He will have been in the Navy for 2 years in October. We are praying he will get a west coast assignment. He is planning a quick visit home the first part of August, looking forward to that!

Looking forward to the Meet & Greet... :)

I'm back in my cube this morning....UG.  I spent I.D. hanging out in Oscar the Grouch's can.  I need a Navy Mom Hug.  (STILL trying to get divorced)

I did get a happy text from the Sailor.  He got keys to his new apartment.  I'm very happy for him.  Barracks life was getting pretty old.

Happy July 4th to all my Navy sisters!   I pray that God will continue to bless our land, our military, and our people.  We are so fortunate to live here in the USA and to have our sons and daughters standing guard over this nation.

Love-  Mary
