Ladies.....I think this got lost a couple of pages ago. We do have a Meet and Greet scheduled, I just haven't had the time to put it up on the Bulletin Board.
Sat, July 28th is the day for us to get together for a Meet and Greet and make pillowcases for the Wound Warrior project.
Look at your calendar and see if your available.
LZ has volunteered her large work room at her worksite for us to use. Remember you don't have to sew, you can be an person that irons, uses sissors to trim thread or just come and be a cheerleader. Its a fun day to spend together and we are contributing to a wonderful program.
So start gathering your fabric if you been buying and stashing!
Monica....Congrats on your test.
heifll, wow, that's really wonderful!! Enjoy your visit. Yes, pics please.
Not a bit surprised Monica...good to see you.
Fair winds and following seas to Jon and the mighty Ike.
A little late answer to Alison: I would have to say that the 3 years my son has been in the Navy have gone pretty slowly. It seems he's always been in the Navy. I know I can hardly remember not being on Navy for Moms!! (maybe I'm just losing my memory! LOL)
His leave went by fast, that's for sure. Praying for a safe trip back no "meet up" with Debbie!!
A BIG congratulation to the newlyweds!
YEA!!! Congratulations!!
Hey, everyone - welcome to our newbees. I've been so very busy, and it has all been good. The short visit with our sailor (Wed-Fri) was great. Got to witness our oldest granddaughter graduate from high school!! Now she is at the National Competition for the 3D Computerized Graphics. Praying that she will do well.
Our Miss Brianna is just wonderful. I took up some pieces of jewlery, and she and I got to pick what we would wear every day! So much fun with a four year old. I loved nap time with her the best.
Our sailor had time with us, and that was a great blessing. Our dil choose to take us to a tea room in Port Gamble for my birthday celebration! How awesome.
Then, I went to Annual Conference for the church business. I was reappointed to my assignment at The North Gold Circuit United Methodist churches. So, the work for this next year begins :-} I'm excited for the challenges and invitation to others to join us.
Do we have a M&G in July??? I'll invite you all to Downieville - it is a one of a kind parade and celebration! Blessings to all, and praying for your sailors.
Thanks to all my Navy mom's the wedding went perfect! We couldn't have a more perfect day weather wise. Everything went as planned and the newlyweds had a wonderful day! Mother of the birde it tired.
Hey Nor Cal Navy moms!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I met a Marine mom at the FISH 103.9 family festival and she gave me a flyer for an upcoming event. Here's the website for more info. It's in Rocklin, it's free admission, but I believe there's a parking fee for the park. If you're not busy next weekend, maybe we can all meet up somewhere to say hello and enjoy this with our families. God bless! the Celebrate America 2012 website is www.celebrateamericaonline.com
Alaina, my thoughts and prayers to your friend and I pray that there is some good light at the end of this series of setbacks....
