Thanks for the invite, Susan but I always go to the Memorial Day service on Sutter Hill. My father is a falllen hero and I have his name on the memorial wall at our park.

I'm so sorry I missed the M&G yesterday. Just couldn't squeeze it in. I am so ready for the next one! Let e know if I can help with anything.

Good Morning Ladies!  It was a very nice M&G.  I love Mirabells menu and desserts, lunch there means no dinner that night.

Alaina, sorry you were under the weather, just to cheer you up, we all too a vote and the consensus was overwhelming.  when the hostess doesn't show up she gets to pick up the tab!  Mirabells understood and they will be contacting you.  But not to worry we each left a $.10 tip on the table for our most patient server.  Oh yeah we each got a dozen desserts to go since you were paying, so don't get excited when you get the bill, it's ok, we got our money's worth.  Hope you are better and you can make it next time.

All ladies who know Rachael (Paymaster's daughter) will be getting married late June.  I know many of you know her and met her at M&G's.  I would like to host a "social hour, bachlorette lunch, M&G" whatever you want to call it at Mirabells.  She is going to think I am taking her to lunch but no...I would like as many to be there.  It will be a no host lunch (yes I will be there so I don't have happen what Alaina went through) Small gifts (funny or not) are welcome but not required.  I am bringing a brand new box of poop bags for the tears of joy!  Keep you eye open for the date, I will have more info after I talk to her.

I forgot (no surprise there). I grew up in Orangevale till sixth grade. Then we moved to what was called 'podunk ville' - now it is called Granite Bay. Not in the fancy part out by the lake.

So, that is why I know so much about how things were in your neck of the woods. I used to walk a lot (back when you could). I went to Oakmont when it was the 'new school' built for 'those kids'. I was there 'before Sunrise' was or is.

My grandparent's lived in Folsom and Sonora. both sets. So, I know what used to be the back roads and are now major roads. So, I remember some funny stuff about places.

It was great to be with you all - thank you for your laughter and smiles. I promise to try to stay in touch better, and I'll bring my picture of my sailor with me next time. Actually I have some pictures on face book. PM me, and I'll try to respond.

I did send to Pay one of the wedding pictures with the brooms - I'll try to figure out how to get it on my page.

Blessings to each of you, and prayers for your sailors.

What a great day! I'm SO glad I got to go to the M&G after all, it was just what I needed. Wonderful to see everyone, I love when we get together, so much love & laughter. Glad to finally meet you NS! :)

Alaina - you take care of yourself. I have suffered w/migraine's and they are no fun. We missed you - truely. Have you tried taking gluten out of your diet? It worked for me - and I'd suggest it to anyone suffering sucks.

What a group you all are - I'm so glad that I got to see you in person. How awesome is it to walk up to a group, and they know who you already are!

I'll look forward to next time, and work hard to make it. By the way, I want to invite you all up for Memorial Day. They have events starting at 9 am at Pioneer Park in Nevada City, followed by events at Memorial Park in Grass Valley. Then, the Blue Star Mom's are hosting a 'Memorial Walk' . There are plaques on all of the bridges in memory of our fallen heros - very impressive, and I'm so honored that these amazing Mom's are doing this.

got to run - hope tha teveryone got home safe and sound.

I am so looking forward to seeing you all today. Ryan was able to come home after his 2nd week in the hospital and seems to be doing well. Lord knows his mama is doing a lot better being at home with Kenna. She certainly missed her mom while she was in Sacramento with Ryan. I have pics on my phone!
