Susan.....You must be on cloud nine with your little angel with you for the weekend!

Hope you have a wonder time at your reunion.

I have the little girls coming over this weekend to sew piillow cases for the USS Lincoln. Should be fun to see what they picked as fabric for the project.

Hey everybody: How are you??? I hope that all have a great labor day celebration.

Jody - I have a Mr. Mechanic as well. What a blessing. However, he is so very busy with everyone else's that he seems to forget the stuff that my vehicle needs. But, I can't imagine the cost of having to fix vehicles - it is through the roof.

Our sailor is here with our Miss Brianna. WOW! The speach theripist has done an amazing job. Of course she is adorable. At 2 1/2 she is 39 inch's tall and 35 pounds. She loves her fruit and loves to eat. We are having a blast. Got to read her a story before she went to sleep last night.
He is off this morning taking an advancement test - lots of prayers surrounding him right now.

So, the great treat was watching Big, Bigger and Biggest with him. We had kept the show about the sub that he was on (USS Pennsylvania). It was very interesting to sit with him during the show. Of course he didn't say much if anything at all. But recognizing the crew. None of the area where he worked was shown and neither was he. But it was very interesting.

We are off to our annual family reunion today. I'll start the second part time job officially on the 12th of September. Oh - lots of prayers for that one. Take care - my angel blessings, ~~S~~
P.S. I've turned off the e-mail while we are gone.

Still looking for anyone in the Stockton/Sacramento area who would like to volunteer their home for a Fall M&G. I would be a co-hostess and stay to help you clean up. Also we can do Potluck style. I live in the foothills so my home is not centrally located. Restaurants are ok, but homes are more to my liking. Saturdays are best for me, but can do a Sunday if I don't have any church work. Please let me know.

Everyone, please note the revised calendar above. If anyone wants to host a meet and greet, please feel free to do so. Does not have to be at a home. It could be a casual affair at a coffee place, at a restaurant or even bring your own bag lunch at a park.

POPEYE'S MOM & MONICA JACKSON, you are signed up for the dinner at the Marines' Memorial Club. Please check the discussion on the SF page for information on a regular basis. I won't be sending out email to each person individually.

Great news Heather. LZ27, it was like yesterday that our son went through OCS. Paymaster, we have an old '94 MBZ with just 90K miles on it. It would intermittently decide not to start. We would toll it to our MBZ "expert" the car would start right away. We next tried another mechanic, it would start right away. Then the second mechanic thought he had the issue solved - repairs $500. After one week, the car didn't start again. My husband wanted to junk the car. The mild manner fellow wanted to take a sledge hammer and take out his frustrations. I asked for patience. Found an old time MBZ mechanic who said immediately the it was a relay problem and that is common on MBZs. For $250, the baby is fixed and good for another 100K miles with regular repairs, of course.
