I haven't gotten the form letter yet but our kids are in the same division. DIV 057 Ship 13 so I guess we have the same PIR!! What state are you in? We're in NC.
HI there, My son Matthew is in Ship 13, Div 053, but we are from Arizona. Also graduating on 1/15/10. Where are you in AZ? I live in Chandler.
Hi there, No I haven't seen many from Arizona either. DId you go to the website mentioned in the form letter they sent home. I was nice to see the schedule to get an idea of what the day looks like and the leave time around the day. Matthew is going to Aircrew training in Pensicola, FL after graduation, so I am not sure when he will leave for that. I haven't made my reservations, as I thought I better get an idea from him first.

Have you gotten any letters from Robert yet? Nothing but the form letter for me so far. I had heard from another Mom whose son just graduated, that she got a call around week 3. So I have had my phone with me at all times. Kinda crazy. :)

Anyway, nice to meet you too. Stay in touch and let me know what you might find out about schedules and Robert's plans after graduation.
Hi there usd2beachit, i'm from Arizona also, North of Tucson & Queen Creek, I split my time. My daughter is ship13 div 059. I haven't received anyhing but the box and the form letter either. She will be headed to nuke shool in South Carolina. I know what you mean by keeping your phone with you all the time! I'm hoping to hear something from her this week, she shipped to GL on 11/10.

Nice to meet you, hope you hear something from your recruite soon!
Hi there-
My son is ship 13 div 056, and he is also headed to nuke school in SC. Do you know when they are leaving yet? I'm trying to figure out flight and hotel plans. We are in Texas- between Austin & Houston. I did get a phone call last week and 3 letters!!
Hi fionarishi.
My son is in the same ship and Div no. as yours. We are practically neighbors. I am in Spring, Tx. My son is supposed to be going to Groten, CT after Bootcamp for submarine school. I also am waiting to find out how much time they will have off between graduation and leaving for their A schools. I have made our flight and hotel reservations to leave on 1/14 and return on 1/17. I'm hoping like crazy that Aaron will get at least that following Saturday off afterwards. We will be staying at the Residence Inn which, I believe, is about 3 miles from the base.
I live in Vail, AZ. My son Justin is SHIP 13/DIV 055. They all got to call home tonight. He called his wife and daughter, said they all were doing well. Getting used to getting yelled at for anything and everything. He is grad and go to Pensacola for Aviation Electronics school.
We are from Toledo, Ohio and my son will also be staying at Great Lakes for A school. I just got my form letter in the mail today.

Jennifer, it must be hard working right down the street from your husband but not be able to talk to him!

Shels, hopefully when you get your sons address you will be able to get more information, the recruiter should be able to help get you info I bet.

We are in need of extra passes for PIR if there is anyone that won't be using all of their passes please let me know!
Hi Cindy D
It's very likely we'll not use the passes because my older son is getting married the 16th. My son is Ship 13 Division 53. My personal address is chihuahuensejosie@yahoo.com
Let's stay in touch to figure out how and if I'll give you our tickets.
