Welcome Navywife21! There are afew groups for the Mayport wivies if you like to join on Facebook. The ladies on base can answer all base stuff for ya about housing. Message me if you like the info
Thanks a bunch for replying, Diane. :)
I'm so excited. I have some stuff to take care of when I get there (like buying a washer/dryer, and a new bed for hubby and I) so it'll be nice to have shopping places close. :)
Hopefully all of our things make it there in one piece!
Hi ladies.
My usband has been stationed in Mayport about a year and a half and I am scheduled to be packed and moved there by the 17th of Oct. :) I'm so excited.
My huusband is currently deployed and I am making the move without his help/advice so that he won't have to do anything but relax whenever they return to the states.
Any info about the base itself, where's best to shop in the area (besides the Nex and commissary), etc would be wonderful!
I've never lived out of NE before, and i'm nothing but anxious to get goin'! Helloooo beach! ;)
PM with info if you have any for me. Please and thank you!
