Heard from my son last night. Did fairly well on Monday's test and seems pleased that his study hours will most likely be reduced. The bad news is he is getting sick. Hope he takes some medicine!
hope your son gets better soon! my son did ok on the test. he would have liked to have done better.
Amanda, when is the masting? I am so afraid of what a mistake with alcohol means to them.
Was this last test better for your son? Hopefully the change of material is just what he needed.
Bestyleebig, I am sorry your son is falling ill. Hopefully it is mild and passes quickly. Glad to hear his test went well. My son also did well on this past test.
Only a little over 4 months to go!!
Cindy-not sure when or what his punishment is, havent heard from son this week...will prob chat this week-end so will know more.
Son did great on Mondays test and said Math is getting easier, more graphing than anything now....so hopefully things will go smoothly, he is still in good spirits and doing good.
Hope all ur sailors are doing well! Have a great day!
yeah! it doesnt seem like they have been in power school for about two months! i pray the next 4 months go by just like the last two !!
i hope to meet some of you at the graduation.
They haven't been in Power School fo 2 months yet. (Sorry if I mislead any one) I think Power School goes by weeks. They won't be in a full six months. When I said only 4 months to go, it did make it sound like it was flying by.(lol) I just can't wait for graduation from PS. I n!eed to see my boy. I can't wait for his leave. I haven't had him home for 1 1/2 years. The shorter it sounds the better I feel
Amanda, glad to hear Collin in doing better. (I knew he would) Now you can rest easy knowing he isn't as stressed. Josh told me about a public masting the other day. It was for a PO3 for an alcohol related incident. He said they took away half of his pay for the next 2 months. He is also being processed out.( I can't remember the term my son used) So basically 1/2 pay for the remainder of time in. I couldn't help but wonder if this was Collin's room mate. If it was, Josh said they were pretty harsh with him and used him to make an example.
Yeah heard from Colin last nite....roomate is 25yrs old....passenger was underage and also charged with open container! Kicked outta Nuke Program and 45 days restriction, not sure if he was re-rated or booted out completely!
I feel bad for him, but in the same sense, at his age he knows better!
Colin will social drink now and then, hasnt drank since starting powerschool, I guess a bunch of guys are heading down to Savanna georgia for St Paddys Day celebration, Colin said he aint going anywhere....not worth chancing !
happy friday everyone!!! hope you all have a great weekend!!!
Physics test today and Math on Wednesday.........good luck to all of our Sailors!
WOW....3 more DUI's this past week.end. Class 1201 again from what I understand....not good!
Glad Colin stayed on Base!
well...Physics test done and passed with a decent grade! Math tomorrow! Latest news...his roomate that got Masted the other week-end had the internet in his name....mom warned son....son didnt listen! Son texted mom today " Well I no longer have Internet".....moms thought "You think"....hahaha!
So told him to talked to his suitmates and see if he can buy into there plan.....or hook up under his name. Colin is soooo tight with money he squeeks when he walks! God forbid he has to pay that internet bill all by himself! LOL!
