Had to catch up ended up in ICU This week. Didn't know I had a bleeding ulcer. Lost almost half my blood! Yikes. Healing at home now.

Pink, are there bows there?  My son has done some archery in the past.  But he has long outgrown the bow he used to have.

Are there any sailors at Goose Creek that are into archery?  My son has been spending his Saturdays at the AF base with his bow and at 3-D archery shoots.  It would be nice to have some other buddies to go with him.  He is into any hunting/fishing activities, although, archery seems to be the easiest at GC.  I think the school has so many different sections that our sailors sometimes have a challenge getting connected with others.

Hello everyone. I first found this group when my son signed up. I remember last year when we all knew the power went out and they all went out to play frisbee. I loved how they were amazed that we all knew about it so quickly. I learned alot about the Nuke program from ya'll during the full year that he was in DEP but decided to stop following till he got thru boot camp. Well he is Indic niw and starts his A school classes on Monday, so I'm back! Great to see names I recognize from a year ago and looking forward to the support of this group again. Great to be back!

Hi everyone. I'm home from my WARM trip to the Bahamas. Didn't have too much to catch up on here. I hope you are good and finally transitioning to warm weather. Sorry to hear of the struggles that some are having. I'm sending my prayers for you. While I was gone, my son passed through town, on his way to BS. He's all settled in now and loves his apartment. He reports on Monday and will hopefully find out the specifics on Prototype.

Tom - Thank you for your guidance. He found a nice apartment that's real close to everything and was able to get all the things he needs at good prices.

To add to a prior post. My son thought that PS was some what easy. He loved the information that he learned and was also amazed that he understood it. He breezed through until the last three weeks. That's when he started to feel the pressure. Luckily, he surrounded himself with a great group of buddies that helped other when it came to relaxing yet keeping proper focus. He did get a bust in the tail from a chief once while in PS. But, it wasn't a Master Chief so he said it didn't bother him   much. Plus, he was goofing off when he shouldn't have been so he accepted his own doing.

I can honestly say, that I've missed your stories. Glad to be back. Much love to all.

Hello all,

This is my first time since the look of Navy for Moms has changed. I am not so sure that I like it. I got used to the way it used to look. How about y'all? Do y'all like the new look?

My son is in power school. He will graduate this summer. I am so proud of him. I know that it is challenging for him. If he keeps pushing, I know that he can make it.

I haven't been on Navy for Moms for awhile.
