My son is in Goose Creek attending A school. If all goes well, he will graduate on July 2. I want to be there that weekend. Does anyone have any ideas about places to stay, rooms to rent to help defray some costs since it will be peak travel time? It will most likely just be me attending.

Someone please tell me that he can have his phone and talk to me at least once a day. Right now he is in basic and it is killing me. I also have a question about when I can visit.

Yay that sounds great. I think I will be working at Isle of Palms if all goes according to plan, so that will be a lot of driving :( But thats okay. I will definitely stay active on here and I have a facebook too. I am always up for game night, girl wine nights, hikes pretty much whatever. Can't wait to meet you all.
Oh I love babysitting also! Especially since I love babies and children but am not ready to have one of our own yet, hehe

Thanks guys! That information on DITY was super helpful. It is going to be a very long drive for us in a U-Haul but is well worth it to have my husband by my side. So you guys should be seeing us come in sometime in the first two weeks of May :)
Is it a small community? How far are we from the downtown part of Charleston?
