OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

No not charleston..... He is at GL for 236 days for A school and that is NOT counting the holds going on right now :( He is moving his stuff to the school side tomorrow and then will fill out the housing info and live ashore packet. They keep telling us because our 3 year old has a rare heart condition that they will speed it up so if something happens he would be treated by military and not civilian but who knows with the military we have been told alot of stuff that hasnt paned out but what can you do. My husband said he thought he would be able to call me today and I still havent gotten a call...I am horrible to myself I keep thinking maybe I shouldnt have went this weekend then I wouldnt be hurting this bad you know? But this weekend was amazing and I feel our marriage is at its best right now. I have been told once they get the live ashore packet it takes 4 weeks to get it approved but thats all I know. Nothing about movers, when they will move you,etc.... Im really not so sure I like sharing him :(
