My son is in class 11-10F at Newport, this is his 6th week there and I am new to this site and haven't been able to find any OCS moms from this group that would like to start a discussion. Hoping to hear from you!
Welcome fsumarta! 11-10 started Dec 6th, so you should check out the group called "Dec 06 2009 OCS class" My DH is in 11-10F also!
Thank you Jenna, yes I got confused by the date, I meant Dec 6th. I had sad news yesterday, my son did not pass the RLP this week, and he was very upset, I think today was the makeup for the RLP, I hope and pray he did pass. It is great that I found somebody in the same group, I was allover the site. In which company is your DH?
So sorry to hear that your LO didn't pass ORLP; I sure hope and will pray he passes today! I know they are very busy studying for their History midterm that they have tomorrow. They also have two midterms next week...our poor LO's are under a lot of stress! My DH is in Fox company, same as your son.
Hi fsumarta! My LO is also in 11-10Fox. Welcome to the crew. I also typically post in the Dec. 6th group as most of us. But it is also fun to peruse through other classes and see what is ahead....or behind for that matter! Hope your LO is doing well, as well as yourself.
Hi AJ7, happy to hear from you also, I was hoping he would call tonight, but I guess no news is good news, they are under a lot of stress studying. Do you know when they have e-mail access ? Anyway I am very nervous today and I can't wait to hear from him. I'm glad everything is going well with your LO.
Hi Jenna and AJ7, I finally figured out and found the Dec 06 2009 OCS class (sorry sometimes I am a little slow) I think I 'm going to follow this group since it has many people following them, Thank you for your replies, so I will talk to you there.
Anyone know what time Hi Moms party is on Thursday night March 11 so I can book flights? How long of a drive from the airport to Newport?
Debbie
Hi Debbie! no I don't know what time is the Moms party on the 11th, I think an early afternoon arrival is ok, the Naval Base is apprx 40 minutes from the airport. Do you have any hotel resv yet?
Our Hi Moms (last week) was at 5:30pm, if that helps.
Congratulations to your son dmarie! I bet he is so happy he finished and you too! Thank you for your info, how was it?
