My son started OCS on September 12.  I have not heard from him, but based on the other discussions, I am thinking that he is class 03-11.  Anyone else in this same class?   This is my first time as a Navy mom.  Any information is greatly appreciated.  thanks.

I will pass this information on to my daughter. Seems some of the girls have received letters and that was getting her down as she has not. I reminded her that her boyfriend is the type to keep his head clear and focused, for the time being, to get done what needs to be done. Also, that we cannot possibly imagine what he is going through. She writes to him everyday and I have sent him a few supportive letters as well. Our prayers are daily for all of them! Thanks for the information. What graduation plans do you all have?
My daughter in also in class 03-11, we got a letter from her today and, of course, the physical side of things is hard. She says she lives from chow to chow and lives for sundays. I think it is because those are the times where the stress goes away for a little while. She has been receiving our letters just fine.
Glad to hear she is getting the letters. Hopefully that means my daughter's boyfriend is too. What is your daughter doing? She must be a strong young lady! My daughter's boyfriend is aviation.
Surface warfare officer. I think that means she will become anything the navy wants her to be. Basically they run all operations of the ship itself, such as communications, gunnery, engineering, etc. And, yes she is a very fit and motivated young lady. We are very proud of her. Also, Sunday is her favorite day, time at church and in a bibical leadership class that is very good she says.
anyone know of anyone in class 04-11...someone may want to make a discussion on here for them and also a page on facebook... just a suggestion
Can anyone help me get into the group on facebook ocs 03-11 family and friends? My husband is a candidate officer there right now and I want all the info I can get!
