C Adam's Mom - Someone on this website directed me to join the friends and family facebook page for my loved ones class so I will do the same for you. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/140665609429503/
This will give you a lot of info and put you in contact with others that have loved ones in class 11-13. My daughter is in class 08-13 and the friends and family facebook page has been a big help to me. Best of LUCK!
Hi! My son is getting ready to report for OCS March 10, 2013 - Class 11-13. Is there anyone else out there with a loved one in that class?
Thanks for the info!
Mary and Tracy, Have you both joined the 08-13 Friends and Family page on FB? Here is a link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/562407203776081/?bookmark_t=group
Excellent source of information and good way to stay connected to others with Loved Ones in the same class.
Hi Mary
My daughter is in 08-13 G and is from South Carolina. Have you received any letters yet? I found a facebook page "Office Training Command Newport" and saw pictures of this class and of my daughter.
Tracy
My son is in OCS right now-class 08-13 G, he is from Austin,Tx, any other moms with a son or daughter in that class??
Mary
Happy dance..my officer candidate is home for a couple days.
thankyou navygf820 and mayapple, that makes sense, i was able to get a letter off to him today to explain why i couldn't reply back to him., will also recheck the email address, thanks for your help.
Hi Cookie - candidates are only allowed to start using email regularly after they pass their RLP inspection on the Thursday of Week 4. The email you received was a "test" email to make sure their accounts work. He is not able to receive email until Week 4 so that is probably why you are getting a bounce back message. Also, make sure the email address you are emailing is correct...sometimes they have a few zeros or numbers after their name. It should be @training.navy.mil as the ending. My boyfriend is in class 04-13 and once RLP was over they had computers in their rooms and were allowed to use email everyday during their down time.
