FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks, your class will be Candios this week. The last three weeks are definitely different. I know my son was reallllllly busy.

The graduation for 09-11 is Friday. I am so excited. We leave on Wednesday. PIR, Hi Moms, and graduation - hard to believe it is here already.

Class 11-11 is doing rope course exercises today.  Someone was able to post some pictures on Facebook.  Reminds me of Summer Camp!

Have a great trip Judy!  It is terrific to hear your words of support as it seems like yesterday when we met and you were full of questions.  Hope you have great weather and a safe travel.  Can't wait to see you when you get back, of course we want to see the pictures.

Hi all, my son is in 09-11 and next week we get to travel to Newport to see him graduate. I am so proud, he is the only one to get the "snowflake" award or honor grad in his class. I have read some of your posts and it is hard to realize we were there not long ago. Hang in there, it gets easier. RLP is a big hurdle.
