Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Happy tears are true...neither my husband nor I, nor his sisters can stop touching him, smiling at him etc. We are so blessed to have him with us for OHARP until school begins back in RI. Needless to say, I am cooking and baking to beat the band! He cleaned out his closet to donate a mountain of clothes! Bigger shoulders and smaller waist; I guess it is to be expected! PeggyW, I just wrote a long list of info for graduation on the group "OCS Graduation", take a look. Congrats to all new Ensigns and their LO's!!

Comment by violet on April 6, 2011 at 11:27am: Please write your Loved Ones everyday. Each day they are given their mail and I have heard that on the days they do not get mail they really have a tough time of it emotionally. You are their only connection to their life outside of OCS.

They cant call again for four weeks, but he probably told you that when he called. Feel better? I sure do! Logan (my son) sounded rushed and tired, but I know he's ok. I'm about to head over to the facebook page for their class moms/wives etc. I had to join first! I was probably he last person in the word to get a facebook page, lol!! Hope you can rest tonite and message me whenever you need to "talk", ok??Nite!!
