FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Aww Linn your daughter sounds amazing, I give girls in OCS alot of credit my son had 1 girl in his class and I kept asking about her all the way thru and he was like mom she is just like me and has to do everthing just like i do.. im a amazed.. good for her for not going home :) prayers are with her on week 8

my son use to call it the (3 week call) and he meant it DO NOT DO ANY PLANNING UNTIL HE GIVE THE CALL but me being me and has to do it by the book use to tell him hunny they need 4 weeks notice for airfare .. so I made the reservations anyway and bought air insurance

Aww Patrice Holding isnt a bad thing its a good thing and MGTSGT Foshee who runs holding is a great guy maybe not great at first but he is great guy who cares .. but shhh you didnt hear that from me lol :) he will help them get ready for everything not just RLP

nice picture Margaret when did you get the pic? wait until you see him at the end my son lose 25lbs and I think he grown a foot I was shocked and upset he was 6ft 3 211 when he started

My son is in Athens GA waiting to start Supply school now, he graduated in Dec he went from OCS to 8 days off then right to GA, where he is still waiting to start SS which was suppose to start for him in July but, they moved it up to Aprils class now, all the guys going in SS who graduated with him are all in GA waiting

Im glad your fine.. the address works both ways because 02841-641 is the one I was giving from my son when he was in OCS and he also received all his mail the important part in the zip is 02841 :)
