They will pay for them to fly home, but your Sailor will have to pay from home to C-School or duty station. But he/she will have to get the ticket changed before A-school Graduation because they will print a ticket from A-School location to C-School location or Duty Station.

Does anyone know if we have to pay to fly them home after A School?  My daughter will have 12 days of leave.

Kathy is right they will be paid while on leave...And also while on hold they will have classes on money management watches ect.. My Daughter was on hold for two weeks before they started classes. She Graduates A-School this Friday and will be home for 15 day's before she has to report to C-School.

Hey guys - those of you who have been around awhile....when my son graduates a-school and gets his days off, does he get paid for those days?  He has 21 days before he has to be on his new ship.  He doesn't want to do without pay for three weeks, which I understand.  Anyone know?

Jamie me son is also on hold at GL. But the way I look at it he is safe and happy and earning a paycheck.

My daughter just told me she is now on hold.  They told her anywhere from 2-4 weeks :(  - She said a few people have been on hold for 2 months.  I hope its not that long

Thanks, Ken!  Worked like a charm.  I printed it out so I can really study.  These kids are on an amazing adventure.  They are heros every one.  Thanks for sharing.
