Yes I took his laptop. You either gets the internet at the loft or you buy an internet card at the nex to get it in your room. I took clothes but he wore them in our hotel room. He has not phased up yet so he cannot wear regular clothes. He said with his uniform on he gets discounts or gets in free at places so he really has not cared to phase up. He will have a birthday in a couple of weeks and now he wants to phase up. ha Thing is, I live in Illinois and it took 3 to 4 days for priority mail to get to him. I had to mail his tennis shoes to run in. He hated the tennis shoes that the navy gave him.

jenmack thanks, he will be glad to know that, he doesn't graduate from BC until 5/13 but already he is looking ahead.  Since you skype he has a laptop also?  Did you bring that to PIR? One more quick question did you bring him clothes or did you ship them later?

When he moved across the street , he had only 1 room mate. He stayed at that ship about a week and a half. Then he move to his present quarters and yes it is more like a dorm but with a bathroom. We skype and I had him show me his room. I was curious.

My son graduated BC on March 4, 2011. He is in A school now. He moved across the street from BC the day he graduated and got to keep his phone then. He is now waiting to get his orders where he is going after A school. His papers said he graduates A school on May 2nd but he didn't start school on the date he was suppose to. I will try to help in any way possible.
