It is on her contract that if she graduate top of her class she will get E-5. She doesn't care either way. When she went to meps she was just going to do Reserves but changed her mind. Even though should would have gotten her dream job.

Hopefully :) Her first recruiter here has left but hopes that my daughter will eventually work with her. Her job is also OS. Her second recruiter here thinks she should go JAG. I just want her to get through the swimming part at boot camp. LOL

Yes she has her bachelors. She wanted to start as an enlisted and work her way up. Thought she would be respected more when she got to the top because she would have experienced the enlisted life. She will be an E-3 with E-5 a possibility after A school.

It didnt take long. My daughters Meps date has been rescheduled. She will leave Wednesday for hotel and finish her security clearance on Thursday at Meps. Cross your fingers that between her two recruiters this will happen. I like how she informs me that once she starts her job the only thing I will know about it is what is listed on the the job description paper she gave me the day she picked OS. Oh well, as long as I know she is safe it is probably better not to know details.
I just hope they dont tell her she is leaving for bootcamp before March even if she is ready to go.

My son was fingerprinted and all that at MEPS. Don't know if his names he gave have been contacted.

Yes,when she first signed she was told she would need a secret clearance and had to give names of people for them to talk to. They completed that and now she was to have her interview. Now she has to wait until they come back to where she goes for Meps.

I will have to ask him, no one has said anything to me yet. So what she was waiting for was in addition to what she did when she first signed?

My daughter was fingerprinted when she signed also. Have your sons names he gave for his clearance been notified? My daughter is moving towards the finally step of her clearance. She was told that her referances she gave were asked questions for her clearance.

I just spoke with my son and he said he filled out his security paperwork and was fingerprinted the week he signed his contract....
