Merry Christmas! This was my first Christmas without my sailor, Wow I wasn't expecting it to be so hard. He will be home in a few days, so I thought I'd breeze right through it. I was wrong. LOL. I Hope everyone had a great day!
Good to hear!!! My son said the same, they made a stop on the East Coast before the last leg home and he said they were all freezing when they got off the plane to stretch. They thought 70 was cold just a short time ago. lol.
Happy sailors = Happy Moms.
good for him Dunes! time to settle in now in his new digs :)
Did get Dunes call tonight, well I just got off the phone with him. He is safe back in the US and happy as can be. lots to do to get settled in. He had to have a place to live as there is no room for them, so he tells me. E-5 are out of there, lol... lucky he had a place all lined up. Freezing, he said he is just freezing but so happy. Mom21 maybe if you want you can let me know who your Son is. Dune was asking me but I told him that we don't even know what each others names are, lol.... Have a wonderful Day everyone!!!
I'm thinking so, at least that's what the grapevine tells me. Have not heard from him yet but I do think they were the last to come back. I think...
Yes, I heard from him last Tuesday. He had to get a new phone, his contract was up while he was away. He was in the first group to get back. He will be home for Christmas. Has Dune come back yet?
Mom21sailor! Have you heard anything?
Thanks for the info ladies. I will definitely keep up with that web page storymom. I don't check in to Navy Moms very often but I will have to start doing that more.
