Which flat rate boxes (size) are the best to use for shipping on the ship?   Also, which Customs form do I use?

My son leaves on Monday (9/24) flying from San Diego to Hawaii to pick up the ship.   Trying to help him get everything done...long distance...

Do you know if letters get to them any faster than the boxes?

Comment by magaritas on September 18, 2012 at 10:12am

I do not know if texting works as this is our first experience with this but maybe when he goes in port, and that's only if they do...I am totally out of the loop here with this but he took his phone with him.

My daughter to kept her phone on she can text and I think she took like 600 dollars but when she came home we purchased 7 months of everything especially toiletries guess its expensive in the ships store! She can access more cash if she needs to with her navy federal debt card and she took along a rechargeable calling card with 300 minutes and a cc if she needs that she's suppose to be saving money lol!!! That's all I can offer good luck!
