Does anyone else feel the same way she was so excited about going that I should be at ease but not knowing what's going on or if she's liking it drives me crazy

Your daughter sounds amazing and so brave! You must be So proud of her.. My SR almost went into aviation as well.. He really wants to be a police officer or do something with special Intell.. We also have a lot of school loans so we will definitely be taking atvantage of the G.I bill =) He just joined the reserves so we will stay in San Diego for now.. not sure what the future holds but I keep telling myself, one day at a time... My husband is hilarious! I miss his humor around the house so much!.. I keep telling him in my letters that I need a good laugh. My kids make me smile everyday but I feel like the Joy has been sucked out of me. I can't even imagine one of my babies gone for so long... Stay strong! We are almost there... This will soon be a distant memory.. and we can both say, "WE DID IT!"
Thank You!!
Happy Easter!! My kids are having such a great time... candy for breakfast...lunch and dinner.. Yikes!! My son sang in church today it was SO cute! I taped if for my hubby.. This is the first time we have been away from each other in 10 years...=( How was your day? Do you have other children?

Paigshley, start here. Read the survival guide from beginning to end.
We have a Survival Guide for Navy For Moms Newbie (clickable link). You'll find everything you need to get started. Videos, PDF files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient. Best part is it'll be here on your very own page as a reference. Click the MY PAGE tab on above menubar to access your page anytime - you should do it at least once a day to see if you have any postings on your comment wall (like this one). Good luck.
