What is CMC? I totally missed that message...where would I have seen or received it? Just wondering if I need to be linked somewhere else also. Getting ready to send another package today...... Thanks Julie for the information...<3 Snickerdoodlemom......(missing my boy...)
Hi there everyone,
I am getting a bit concerned.....I have not heard a peep (via email) from my Sailor since the beginning of January. It is really out of the "norm" (whatever norm is...lol") Last time this happened he had been put in sick bay.....I am concerned. Has anyone else received emails within the last 12 days?
Thanks.....
Snick
Thank you Kathy. I appreciate the prayers. It's tough but God is with us.
goobermom my prayers go out to you and your family!! Im sure its an extremely tough time for you right now, thinking of you!
Kathy,
I laughed when I read your post. I am glad you got a call from Paige. I also have received a couple of calls from Tim however it is only because his grandfather is in intensive care and may not make it. We are on pins and needles right now. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know this time of year is hard without your loved ones. Hang in there. It is temporary. Keep sending them letters pictures and packages. Their highlight is mail call and they get something. I so hope this time goes faster. It seems like it is taking forever.
Hello everyone. I also have sent packages the first week of October. My son did receive those. As far as email, my son said the ships email was shut down because of people talking about where they were. I just received an email last night saying the email was back up on the ship.
Navymom120,
The packages are taking a while. The first one I sent took about 5 weeks. I sent two large ones about 2 weeks ago which he has not received yet. Although, yesterday I was told shipments are arriving on a quicker basis now so maybe the boxes will arrive quicker. I have two more to ship out.
Also, the email server was down for a few days. I have never received undeliverable messages and I do hear from my son about every other day.
Hope that helped.
Snick....
