I love cockatiels & would like to have another but I think two is more than enough. I'd like to have a rose crested cockatoo one day. I wanted to upload a pic along with my comment but don't know how to do that yet. I'll figure that out some other time.

HI, I'm Karen, Mom to KC. My son has been in for fifteen months now and his ship just left homeport this morning for deployment. Originally, I wanted a cat but decided on birds since my husband didn't want a cat around. I have two cockatiels named Tweet a Lutino & Pearlie a Pearle. They are two females and I love my birds and both are now 7 - 1/2 yrs old. They have their own personalities. My Pearlie loves to fly over to my shoulder when I have the cage door open while I'm sitting at the desk.

Hello everyone, my name is Sandy. My Sailor is Matthew he has been in the Navy 3 years. When he left for Boot Camp the house was so lonely, our older son Joshua was in college and lived on his own,he thought we needed a pet to love. So we decided we needed someone for us to give all our extra love to. So we went to a Pet Rescue and we were the lucky people chosen for Annie. They called her Little Orphan Annie because she was a abused 12 pound Chihuahua/ Dauschhound. She took a while to get to know us and after 3 years she still has some trust issues, but she is our love. When we wrote Matthew about her , he told all of his friends in Boot Camp he had been replaced by a dog. I remember when Annie's foster Mom told us she needed to sleep in our bed and I said no way!! Oh well , she now owns our bed. When we wrote Matthew about her , he told all of his friends in Boot Camp he had been replaced by a dog. But she didn't really replace him she just filled a hole in our hearts that was made when he left. It always amazes me how much love our pets give us. I will try to get a picture of Annie soon, I am not a computer person so I will have to wait for some help. Take care ladies and thank you for sharing your pets with me.

Hi everyone, I just found this site.I belong to a few others. I have 7 dogs.3 of them are mine and the other four are my kids.It would be easier just to go to my page to my world of 2 legged kids and 4 legged kids. My daughter's dogs are the mini doxie(Roxie) and the Dalmation(Prissy- she lays with her legs crossed like a prissy girl-Heather got her from a homecoming date when she was11.).My oldest baby is 13-Peaches, the youngest is 2-Cheyenne. The other range 4-5 years old Roxie is 8 years old. My last cat (Princess-heather's) pasted away 1.5 years ago in April. My oldest passed away this oct.4years ago(Foxy) she was 22 years old. She passed away 2 days before my father-N-law. We decided no more cats-not with 7 dogs.
