AWWWW!!! I am new to this site and my husband will be going to BC in Feb. 2011!  However, we have 2 furrbabies.  They are Dachsunds and we love them to pieces. We have a Black/Tan Smooth (Tween), and a Black/Tan/Silver Dapple.  I eventually would like to make them little sailor uniforms so they can be like their Daddy:)  Since we do not have children yet, our children our are doxies.  Happy New Year! :)

I just tried to forward a picture of my labordoodles on a raft in the pool I must be doing something wrong because it got sent back. Can you say the Dawg Days of summer that should be the caption. These two have always been a part of the family but with A gone they have become the total babies. They hate is when the only grand child comes over. You should see them pout lol

Michaels mom- I also have a chi/pom mix, I would love to see pics of yours! Ours is all black and is the sweetest little thing! She has seasonal allergies and I give her childrens benadryl only when she's having an "allergy attack". She starts huffing and puffing and the poor thing gets really scared. The good news is that the benadryl works almost immediatly. She also is allergic to flea bites. We give her the occasional ear drops for her seasonal allergies. She seems to be allergic to everything :(

Wow, Karen. What a great adventure! I'm new to this group...my son will be heading to Norfolk/Newport News next Friday for his first duty stuation with the USS TR.
Since it is in dry dock, I know it will be quite a while before his ship would go on something like the G HW Bush did. That sounded so neat!

Sandy just remember you have to do it all the time, especially right after they come in from out doors......good luck :)

And Karen, I'm so glad you had that experience. The only thing I ever did with Chris was drive around his base when he was in ME, but better than nothing!!
