Hope everyone had a great holiday. My son Rob surprised us with a visit home this weekend. Boy was I surprised. He had called and said that he was having a package delivered to the house and wanted to make sure we were going to be home Friday after work. Well he was the package. not only was I crying when i saw him but our 2 little dogs. Once tehy looked to see who had come in the door the tails and the yelling for him couldn't go fast enough. I thought that Pongo would wagg his tail off he was so happy to see Rob. the cats were different. Jazmine was all cuddely bit George wass very remote. Almost like to say well see if i come over after being left alone. but he got over it. sure was nice to have Rob home for a few days.
fleas are really bad here in august. Seems like they get worse every year. I still haven't found anything that works really great. and ticks, ugh. When we lived in NC for a year, our poor litlle daog we had would not want to go out cause he knew he would get sprayed and gone over as soon as he came in they were so bad. He would be out for 5 min and come in with 2/3 on him.

Laura, The game in St louis is really too far from GL to go to. check out the chicago white sox, they are playing in chicago this weekend.the Cubs are not in town this weekend. Also most of the grads have to be back at the base by 8pm sharp each night.. they will most liklely want to get there earlier as if they are late they lose liberty the next day. just remember whatever time you get is precious. Enjoy, it is the most wonderful ceremony. I am glad your Peaches is doing better. Funny how these little creatures can get into our hearts.
